Welcome to “That 70’s Show Throwdown”! This is a mixed pairs (M/F) partner competition in which the combined age of the team MUST be 70 or higher. You’re 35 years old, you can partner up with someone your same age. If you’re 22, you need to pair up with someone 48 or older. In almost every case, someone on the team will probably have a birth year in the 1970’s sometime. The age we are counting is your numerical age as of the date of this event, 5/13/2017.
EVENT #1 score is YOUR COMBINED TEAM AGE! This means that if two 50 year olds form a team, their combined age would be 100. They would "beat" a team with a combined age of 90 for example in this "event #1". What this will do is give our older team a "head start" so to speak over our younger teams. Every score for this event will carry equeal weight.
We will have two divisions for this event. Both are mixed gender pairs. One division in which the male partner is older (Silver Fox Division) and the other in which the female partner is older (Mrs. Robinson Division).
Programming for this event will be challenging but approachable. We work hard to not create “sticking points” that will stop you dead in your tracks on a workout. You may see options for movements that will will NOT be considering scaled. There will be one written movement standard for this event, but scaling will be allowed. If you do scale a movement your team is just eliminated from prizes.
So, Silver Foxes, get out there and find yourself a younger woman. Mrs. Robinsons, it’s time to hook yourself up with a young stud!
T-shirts are included in the price of registration. Registration Closes two weeks prior or when event sells out (whichever comes first).

2.9% payment processing fee = $3.77/team
3.5% platform fee = $4.68/team
Once you sign up for an event 100% of all fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Once you sign up for an event the MAXIMUM refund granted will be 90% of registration cost (i.e. a 10% service fee will apply to ALL refunds). At 30 days prior to an event the MAXIMUM refund granted will be 50% of registration cost. At 21 days prior to the event, there will be NO refunds granted. ALL refund requests MUST be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Price Guarantee Policy
We appreciate our early registrants and repeat customers. If you register for one of our events, and if we globally lower the price of the event after you have paid, we will refund the difference to you between the price you paid and the lower price.
